| Checking the translation of formatted texts (%s, %d etc.) |
| VRT checks the integrity of the translation of formatted
texts containing control characters such as %s, %d, %x etc. This
is only way to ensure that the translation will not cause
software malfunction or crash. Checking is carried out automatically when a translated file is exported. It can also be done continuously throughout the translation of a project, which makes on-line correcting possible. |

Dialog box editor |

Customize dialog boxes by language with a powerful editor. You can resize dialog boxes and their contents, resize automatically the controls, carry out alignment and allocate the same size to a group of controls. You can Undo and Redo operations and compare the interface styles between languages with a simple click. |
Automatic dictionary |
| Make up your own dictionaries. A dictionary per language, that you can manually edit, consult, add to, modify or purge, is generated automatically. Exchange your dictionaries between projects and sub-projects and apply them in order to obtain an automatic translation. |
Import-Export |
| Export sub-projects for translation including protected languages. Import* them securely with a full consistency check. Export resource file texts in CSV format. Import the translated CSV files and apply them to the project for automatic translation and dictionary enhancement. |
Reverse engineering |
| Retrieve your already translated resource files (even on former versions of your software). All the useful translations will be recovered. |
Context sensitive help on data |
| Let the translators benefit from the on-line help of the software to be translated. You can either use the VRT software on-line help or the project on-line help. VRT can link a help file (*.hlp) by resource file or by resource group. |
